Hi guys,

Just wanted to see what you guys thought about this. I'm not entirely superstitious, but I do tend to pay a little more attention when good things start showing up. This last week I have been trying to get squared away with the company/individual to get my app up and running. I had a little issue with the financing aspect as for initial funding. In the mail this week I had a check for some extra taxes I paid after a small inaccuracy with an estate and a bunch of financial headache. Boom. First half to get the build started. I also lined up a guy to do the entire back end and maintain and install it for a good price. So over the last week and a half I have the money to get the UI moving and the back end all lined up. I'm getting a large amount of motivation with this project.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through TMF and have been applying every point in the book to this business plan of mine. It is dead on in every aspect. I couldn't be more happy with how things are going. I'm on an up. And probably one of the most important things I've learned up to this point is this: Ride the shit out of the highs. And when in the lows, hold on and just know there's gonna be a high right around the corner.

Seems even the difficult times are exciting to figure out the entire plan and make it happen. With all of this I feel like I'm getting closer to having my road map. I'm hyped.

That is all. Throwing some goodness out there.

Mike

Well if that's the case I couldn't be any more dead on. This week is gonna be another big one. I make a final decision about the build and now have all the money lined up. I have a couple real big important meetings this week and look at 2013 as my year to prepare for the big jump that's about to happen for 2014.

If I'm using a company in LA and I'm in Denver, would it be recommended for me to fly out one day to take a look at the office and meet the people building my app face to face? What is the best way to approach this? I have emailed the two previous companies they built websites and apps for so I should have some feed back soon.
