Hi guys,
I´ve been reading here for almost 2 months now and can say there is a lot of value in here, this has been my main information source since then but I just decided I´m going to take action with a small step and that is introducing myself to you guys.
I am 33 years old from Spain and have been living the slowlane forever and never realized it until I read The Millionaire Fastlane , harsh moment when you come across the fact that there is another way, different from what is imposed by society.
I always struggled in school because I somehow felt there was something wrong with it, I have no college degree because I simply never saw any value in that and I always thought I wouldn´t be able to memorize all the things they asked for (now I know why, I am shitty in memorizing stuff I have zero interest in).
Than after some Marketing degree I got several jobs in the tourism sector where I am right now with a decent pay (for spanish standards) and realized I got very comfy because of the easy money coming in... another harsh moment when I realized that.
Now with an almost 2 year old boy it hit me in the face by becoming fully aware of how much time I was at work instead of at home playing with my son.
So far so on, my goals for this year:
- Learn copywriting
- Learn Marketing
- Most important goal: Apply both skills mentioned before instead of sitting around doing nothing.
By the way, my english has improved a lot by reading you guys, another positive thing that came along with finding this forum but I am fully aware that I have to move away from "reading mode" and find a healthy balance.
