I am a 26 year old who grew up only knowing the slowlane like most. I started a valet parking business when I was 21 years old and made many mistakes which I now realize. My motivation and energy went down after my failed venture so mistakenly I went back to slowlane.
I finished my degree in business finance 2 years ago and have been working for a private company for the last year and a half, it has been a good ride so far because this is a company in which there are no meetings, no corporate environment, no big drama, the owner is a multimillionaire who is the most simple and honest person and who treats me like a son, he is a great mentor for business and life and I am surrounded by great people. My goal is to become fastlane within the next 5 years. It might seem like a long time to many of you but I want to learn as much as I can in the shoe industry, I will also get to travel to China for a month at a time and go to factories. I think this is a great experience in many ways so I don't want to leave until I see all this for myself.
I do however, plan to start chipping away at my 5 year plan now. My plan is to be able to live off trading within that time frame. I want to immerse myself into trading in my free time. I will be sure to read all threads I can on investing and trading. I am very happy to have found this place and look forward to learning from all of you and hopefully one day meet.
