Hi,

Anyone know of a bank whose rates are better than 0.75% APY in Savings and 0.80% + 0.85% APY in Checking?

Thanks!

No. ING used to have a savings account that offered 2% interest, but no longer, it's now 0.75 variable.

Oh, by the way, since this is TFLF:

I know what you're saying. Just thought I'd try to earn some good interest while storing some money temporarily in the short term.

By the way, when did ING have 2% interest in their savings? A friend who's toying with the idea of opening up an account with them wants to know. Thanks!

If you're talking about an amount less than $40,000, learn a niche and hustle with it. Even if somewhere paid 2% interest compounded yearly, that's a far cry from 400% interest compounded weekly.
