There is plenty of opportunity in the UK, but culturally it's not somewhere I want my kids to grow up, the woke laws / politics suck.

Any suggestions of thriving and common sense practicing cultures and locations would be appreciated!

Gdansk/Sopot in Poland.

Been living here two years and love it.

It is super relaxing, everyone is very friendly, and it has strong family/community values.

There is also hardly any crime and the food/scenery is great - super nice beaches and woods.

One example: At the local park here there has been kettlebells locked up with a tiny chain for 9 months - they are easily worth close to a 1000 euros and no one has gone near them ever though you could steal them easily.

Downside:
- Polish language is one of the hardest to learn (but nearly everyone speaks some English)
- If you aren't white you might feel a little out of place (Poland has very little foreign immigration)
- It can be a little boring if you like adventure sports > there are no mountains or waves (but beach is still nice).

Also it is very solid on prices and hardly any traffic.

Dare I ask which woke laws you think you are subject to?

Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, Austria, France (some parts), some parts of the Netherlands, Flanders, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, Switzerland, Russia, China (google Baizuo lmao) etc

Actually, avoid all Anglo-Saxon countries and Scandinavia + Finland because this cancer spreads depending on people's English literacy (and they speak good English there). You'll do best in countries where people speak very little English, or hate America.

In this list, Poland, Hungary, and Estonia are by far my favorite countries.

Caribbean islands are my go to real estate search fun.

Some of these are entire countries that have less government than my exurb municipality.

Thriving and "un-woke": China, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia,...

Note: "Conservative Locations" may not be the most immigrant-friendly locations.

Wokism and high finance are 2 halves of the same awful coin. Wokism is about demoralizing people into a population of docile serfs (feudal serfs were probably treated better honestly) and making sure that things like religion and culture don't interfere with making money.

Basically, the more commercialized and financialized a place, the more woke horseshit you will have to deal with.

Try moving to a place with a low cost of living and low crime and you should get something conservative ish. But @trylks is right - conservative places prefer their people to newcomers.

It's true. The main problem here is obviously, commandment of control.

Seasteading is the ultimate solution, the ultimate fastlaner's asset and the biggest FU to soci****s and their governments.

Alternatively, you can buy an island (it's not THAT expensive).

Edit 1. South-Korea ain't bad either, but as quoted above, conservative societies are difficult to immigrate in (which is why they are conservative).

Edit 2:
Can't you just move to the country side? Like another user said the closer you get to the city or financial centers the more "woke" it is.

It is absolutely correct. Sociologically, classes don't exist anymore. Societies are split in-between the globalist elite, mobile, highly educated, mainly center-left-left, and the "silent majority" from the countryside, very sensitive to innovation, and any type of change in their communities, more religious, and much more conservative.

Honestly, yes.

You can buy an island for low six figures, it just won't be the dreamy hollywood island you first think of.

The tricky part is that you would need to be FI to pay for things, and you would need a good strategy for food, water, and transportation.

Those parts are probably the biggest expenses (the expense of not having normal income or access to grocery stores, roads, etc) - but if you are truly "fastlane" - then you should have no issues!

nomadlist.com has some decent filters to narrow down what you're looking for.

Curious, have you joined this community or just use the free info they give. I lived abroad for 7 years and this would of been a cool tool to have back in the day. On other note, all the US cities crime rates look pretty bad to the rest of the world.

Neither yet, but I follow the entrepreneur behind it. He's built some decent projects in the past few years.

Cool, I may check out and will get back to you as I'm going to be traveling a lot and may be a good source to make some travel blogger friends too, not that expensive. Haven't checked any other similar platforms but was in a travel blogger community like ten years ago and was very helpful.

The whole private island thing doesn’t work any better than the presiding country... Unless you want to declare your independence and start a war with them.

For me, the whole topic is slowly becoming a business case. There are so many topics in which people differ so radically from each other that living together will no longer be possible in the future. I don't need to list them, everyone knows it. That's why we needed services that start on a small scale where there is a gigantic excess demand. Entertainment that has turned from political correctness into boring propaganda freak show, this is a huge area for comedians, there will be golden times when a new large social media platform (as announced by Trump, for example) has established itself and thus has the opportunity to have a large one again Get an audience. Then bias free messages etc. The infrastructure for such platforms, reasonable servers that survive one or the other DDOS attack by the enemy. Data and censorship protection are also huge business models.

And in the end, the greatest need is secession and the establishment of a free private legal system (free private cities) in order to be able to offer people a free and tax-favorable place to live in which they can live in peace and freedom.

So let's stay happy and create an offer.

As full-time resident of Georgia, I can only speak of this country.

#7 in the world by the index of ease of business (Worldbank data)
#4 in the world by the index of safety (Numbeo.com)
#12 in the world by the index of economic freedom (Heritage.org)

Do you like mountains? - check!
Do you like sea? - check!
Do you like rainforests? - check!
Do you like deserts/safari? - check!
Do you like nightlife/clubs/shitty dive bars? - check
Do you like wine? - double check!

Price of living is much cheaper than Europe (city public transportation $0.25, meal in restaurant $5-10, city center 100sq/m apartment $400).

Maybe I'm biased as a local, but having traveled in europe, can't think of any that's better to live.

What's the deal with wild dogs in Georgia? I've heard a few people say they were chased by packs of street dogs in the capital or in parks etc

never heard anybody being "chased", though sterilized stray dogs and cats are free to move in the city.
I'd be more cautious in mountains with shepherd dogs, they are the real deal.

I live in a large UK city and can't stand the woke culture either. It is a good place for business though - the UK is a huge market and relatively low taxes compared to other major economies. I plan to grow my business here then eventually sell it and either move to the countryside or move abroad.

Have you considered moving to the countryside? Woke culture is generally only seen in cities, where the universities are. Plus with conservatives in power for the foreseeable future, surely there is some hope that the woke culture can be countered? Don't forget the last election showing that the woke are a minority even if they shout the loudest. TalkRadio promotes freedom of speech and GB news is being launched soon to provide an alternative to the BBC.
