Not even sure where this would go. Plus, this thread may not even make sense as I am trying to sort things out mentally.

I may possibly be putting the cart before the horse in regards to potential prospects. Although, my workbooks are not in the final stages of completion, I have other projects that are completed or near completion. A lot of what I have left to finalize everything practically sits idle until the workbooks are completed. I can't finish my program guide until my workbooks are completed because 90% of that material needs to be added into the program guide. My start up website in 95% complete but I need finalized workbooks to add into my bookstore, so prospects or client's see a finished product.

As I sit debating what I can do in the meantime, I figured I would start researching my potential customers. I then found myself making a list of all prospects and who the decision makers are. With that list I thought it would be a smart idea to connect with the decision makers on linkedin. I received two connections and I started to feel that this may not be the right way to go about gathering potential client's. I feel that it's not appropriate because they did not "opt in" in learn more about my business.

What ways can I gather potential client's and still hold on to integrity?

Should I launch my website and in my store advise they program is coming soon? Allowing me to find ways to push traffic to the site and generate a potential client list from that.

I am basically at a stand still until my books are finalized and I hate sitting idle.. Any thoughts?

Its more of a product because the workbooks will be tangible and I dont have to be involved for the program to work.

I was thinking about launching the site, and be able to use the site to drive traffic or potential customers to pre-order the program...

In fact!! it just dawned on me as of this second.. I think I will launch the site, in the book store I will provide updated information on when the program will be available and allow potential prospects to pre-order the program. All I would really need at the moment is to advertise the site on my social media.
