Hello everyone! im very new at this forum and not posted much yet because there is still so much to read here. Yet I am now in a situation where I need some advice on how to increase the probabilities and get a living place in Munich.
So a little bit more info about it.
I am 31 yo, was born in Moldavia but grown in Spain. Then in 2015 I moved for work in a little town in Germany and because I was more about big cities I moved last October to Munich.
It is very expensive and yet difficult to find a flat here, so I got a shared 10 square meter room in a 16 room House. This room costs me 650 € and it’s even a little outside Munich.
It is so much noise here at night living with so many people, most of them students that ive decided to look for an 1 room flat or even an 2 room one. The strange thing is that looking at the prices they are not much different. 1 room flat is between 700-800+ and two rooms are 800-1100+.
Problem now is to even get a response on my application. I sent so many and didn’t even get 1 response. What I actually do know is that the only possibility to get one is to apply to those flats that are overvaluated.
Here is my question to members on here that understand how Real Estate and rent apartments work.
How could I increase my chances to get a flat paying a fair price?
What comes in mind is that being a foreigner, single, and male could have some negative influence? From other side a good application letter may help.
Some ideas to get through this barriers?
Thanks a lot for reading!
