First off the bat I mean no disrespect MJ DeMarco, I'm just trying to understand why people think this way. Something tells me you think your a know it all too but I could be wrong. I'm more focused on Trump and how people see him as a demigod despite just being a common businessman.

Rich people like Trump seem to think that the very fact that they are rich means they know everything. Well, I got news for you Trump and MJ DeMarco you don't know everything. I'm not dissing you MJ by the way. I just find that these business types are seen as Gods that know everything outside their narrow field of "money". A lot of people think because Trump is rich he must know everything, including philosophy, art, chemistry, biology, cosmology, mathematics, etc.,etc. but the truth is all these rich people know is money. So if I asked MJ a question about biomedical gerontology I doubt he would be able to answer because that's not his field of study. MJs and Trumps field of expertise is money and time. I just don't understand how people see them as demigods that know all areas of human knowledge . Its just not true. Trump is a businessman and that's it. Same goes for MJ. He may know some computer code, and other fields of study but his primary focus is money and time. One person can't know it all, yet people seem to think the rich know everything. Trump presented his wealth as evidence that he was " very smart" and indeed superior in every respect. Is thus guy serious, lol. Trump you're a businessman , enough with the delusions of grandeur that you know "everything".

You should work on your belief system.
There is much I need to work on, but that doesnt really answer why the rich are seen as knowing everything there is to know, instead of just the business people they are.

"The rich"... you're overgeneralizing.

Where is it stated that the rich know everything? What is "everything" even?

In this introduction, you didn't say anything about yourself. Additionally, MJ never said he knows everything.

You have an inferiority complex. Your post speaks a lot about your own biased belief system. You impose your own shortcomings on others. Worry about yourself, not others. Envy can be crippling.

I acknowledge there are people smarter than me. I learn from them. I am not too proud to be a student.

I disagree dude, MJ said he hates gurus and the word guru because it implies you know everything. If you can find the Pat Flynn podcast with MJ from a few years ago, go right to the end and Pat asks whats something MJ does everyday. He said reading, hes always striving to learn, keep up to date and improve himself because he doesn't know everything. So I couldn't disagree more

If you're trying to get MJ's attention, you're doing it the wrong way.

I will leave this post live so the OP can hopefully through education gain recalibration.

Yes, you are wrong.

He doesn't care.

Unscripted : Chapter 8, Page 44:

HYPERREALITY #4: HYPER-PERSONALITY.

Read it. The answer for your question is on that page.

It's not "rich" people's fault if they appear as if they know everything.

It's the fault of the mind, that sees rich as a know it all because they are famous and "rich".

"a lot of people think" Do they?
yet people seem to think the rich know everything" Do they?
"the truth is all these rich people know is money" Now you know everything.
You seem to have an external locus of control.
You say you aren't dissing MJ then you diss him. Hmmm.

Try another introduction and don't be a dickhead.

Nice try at trolling I guess?

Most people who are very successful in business will tell you to hire people smarter than you, who know more than you. There are plenty of smart people who don't want to own businesses right now.

Who are these straw people you're arguing with? Your whole post about rich people and knowing everything reads like a weird conversation with yourself in a corner.

Why are you worried about other people?

If you believe other people think they are smart, wouldn't you be smart to see if you could learn something from them?

If there is something I want to achieve, I look to find people that have already done it (doesn't matter how they did it) and see if there is something I can learn to shortcut the process.

Spend some time on your mindset. What is your why?
Who can you learn from to get there?

How do you know what people know and do not know? For all you know MJ could be on the crapper right now reading scientific biomedical gerontology journals on his tablet trying to understand the latest with preventative hemorrhoid nanotechnology for gods sake. Unless you are physically there in his bathroom you wouldn't know that.

That is why I focus on myself and attaining knowledge my way without comparing myself constantly and always wondering who knows more than me. The way I see it, there is something to be learned from everyone. I always do my own research but it is always good to hear other people's perspective. Especially those with more life / business experience than me. We can all learn from each other.

Aren’t there rules about political posts on here?

Seems to me like op is complaining about Trump and lumped MJ in to try to make it relevant.

There’s nothing delusional about logic. You’re petty enough to willfully ignore it when you see it... unless you haven’t even read the books and are making unfounded assertions. Your snowflake mind will keep you poor in spirit and in bank account.

Im sure he can take it . I’m not trolling. im not trying to be a dick ok.

Anyway there is this guy that swears alot and says you need a lot of sheckles to change the world. I was thinking to myself there is really nothing I want to buy with all that money I make and he says if you cant find sonething to buy then your looking in the wrong place. What is he talking about? Where do I look to buy the right stuff with my money? I think his name is Cena

Thread now closed. You may be at the wrong forum. Landfill. Spend some time reading and less talking until you get the hang of this place, or leave and go find somewhere you will be more at ease.

There are so many places in the 900+ pages of public material that I've written the clearly indicate I don't have all the answers, especially in fields unrelated to my line of work. Yet I've studied enough to be able to instantly spot errors in beliefs, cognitive fallacies, and other psychological traps of thought.

So if I asked MJ a question about biomedical gerontology I doubt he would be able to answer because that's not his field of study.

Yup, I wouldn't know a damn thing about it and I never claimed I did. Moreover, I don't care. I guarantee there are plenty of things you know that I don't, especially if they're in narrow fields or pertaining to industry domain experience. For instance if you worked in a mattress manufacturing plant, you would be the expert on mattress manufacturing, I'd be the student.

but the truth is

The truth as you see it. Your perception fails reality, as it does with most people.

Additionally, MJ never said he knows everything.

Thank you sir.

My view has always been that education doesn't end at graduation, it ends at the cemetery.

Not sure how someone can read the 900+ pages of material I've put out in the public domain and come to the conclusion that I think I know it all. Or wait, maybe someone is guilty of NOT reading the 900+ pages of material I've written and have jumped to conclusions about it, because after all, "millionaire" is in the title! It must be about getting rich with Ferraris and Lambos!
