This forum has a lot of men on it. Can you guys please help me?!

I need a good gift ($500 or less) for a man who is 54.

He has interests in cars (buy and flip as a HOBBY), music/concerts (Can't find any good concert that {I think} he might be interested in). Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton is his favorite song.

I was thinking a craft beer subscription for 1 year. I know nothing about beer though so I didn't want to sign up for that and he may not like it/ drink it.

He has an HVAC business that he oversees/manages, he has about 7 workers- anything that can be useful or helpful for that?
He also works a 6a-2p---on a Director level, so anything that he might like to have in his work office?!

As a man (in this age range) what gift would YOU be HAPPY to receive?!

What items/service would make your life better if you had it?!

This guy is very simple and low maintenance.

Help please, I need ideas and suggestions.

Thanks!

@AllenCrawley might have something. Not sure if he has anything that could arrive by Christmas, but he might have gift cards that could be used online. (Not trying to call him out though. He may not want to share his biz).

Does the guy like to read? If someone needed a last minute gift for me, I'd hope they got a year of Audible subscription.

Is he into fitness? Wine? Whiskey? Gin? Personal Grooming? Clothes? Outdoors? Food? You need to give us something to work with here.

Something work or ourdoors related could be a Leatherman or Gerber (I have a personalised (engraved) leatherman wave that goes most places with me).

If food you could look at something like below. I bought one of these earlier this year so we could meet up with friends in the forest or on the coast and have a great get together. It's a portable oven that cooks incredible pizza. We only need to say free pizza to have loads of friends show up and have an amazing time. Sometimes it is not the gift but what the gift brings that provides the rewards.

Get some great clothes/shoes.

G2000 for business cuts. I've never actually bought one, but I did window shopping, and they looked pretty snappy.

For sports and casual wear, I've always liked Skechers shoes. Where I am, its around RM400 (which would be a lot less compared to the USD), but compared figure-to-figure, would roughly hit the 500 buck-mark. Lasts for YEARS and very comfy.

And this coming from an Asian perspective, premium health supplements that you rarely buy for the man, besides the odd vitamin C bottle, would be fantastic. Where I am, folks give bird nest, chicken essence (for late-night grinding), abalone, ginseng and the odd bio-hacking sample.

If he likes beer, he shouldn't mind trying something new.

But this depends on what he likes to drink. If he's a hard liquor guy and likes a particular spirit, then he might not enjoy a beer gift as much.

Tickets are the easiest thing to buy if you can find something he likes.

I'd go with an expensive bottle of alcohol, cigars, Bears playoff tickets if he's into football, or something simlar.

I decided to get the KISS tickets, they will be in our city in March and the Leatherman Wave.

That way he can have an experience (concert) and a gift that he can a lot of use out of!

Thank you guys so much for the help!
