Hi everyone,
I've made a few posts and I've gorged lots of the GOLD marked threads here. I thought maybe I should introduce myself here now, as I feel I will be on here for some time!
I came across MJ's forum via Reddit by accident! I was researching Amazon FBA and some books were recommended including Millionaire Fastlane .
After gorging so many threads, I have so many goals I wrote down this past weekend (and how I could achieve some of them) - and so many things I want to achieve - but it is kind of overwhelming, so I might have to cut back some of them.
A bit about myself: I live in Toronto, Canada, and I work in IT full-time. I actually have been looking for a side-hustle which is how this all started. My initial ideas for the side-hustle were to pay off my debt (student loan) and from there, look at ways of building wealth long-term.
In that search, I came across Amazon FBA, Shopify + Oberlo etc, and other things like that. Although I read some success stories, seeing the progress of so many people here is so inspiring. And that there is so much more than just 'a side hustle' that could be done.
My goals (most pertinent to this forum, anyway) are related to paying off that debt by the end of this year, which requires making more ice cream - but I am struggling with specific focus. I.E. I guess because I am so new to all of this, I am researching so many different things, but I am very cognisant of action/mental masturbation...i.e. money now (i.e. doing FBA, Uber, or whatever) vs money later (starting an e-comm site, or web design business, etc).
I have other personal goals as well, not sure if this would be a progress thread though, so I'll try to leave it at that for now. I am heavily into guitar since I was young, and music is a huge passion for me.
Nice to meet everyone, and I sincerely want to thank all the long-timers + mentors on here imparting us n00bies with their invaluable knowledge. Pleasure to be here.
