Hello everyone, I am 17 years old and I live in Romania. My environment is extremely toxic (family, friends), and basically I didn't find one single person to befriend, as everyone I encountered seemed to be so trapped in the mainstream narrative. I live 15 km away from the town, and here there are no kids my age near my residence. Besides my cousin though, but he is going to college, he is the only person I found to be interested in self-improvement and entrepreneurship. Literally everyone is so enthralled by the party life, hanging out, wasting time on social media, playing video-games, or some are extremely into getting the As. None of this really interest me, but it's hard to be this lonely. My classmates live in the town. How do you cope with not finding valuable and non-negativistic and nihilistic friends. How did you manage to cope with this? Should I just swallow their behavior and mentality? As far as I am concerned they would only drag me down. My family, my so called friends try to get me to be "normal" and follow religiously their dogma.

Take a tip. Think what you like but act like others. conceal your true intentions. but work like a spy in the background plotting your escape.

Do not hang out with people that bring you down your better of alone trust me, try to connect with likeminded people, stay in touch with your cousin regularly via phone and internet, you are the sum of the 5 people you hang out with and if there all shit guess where your heading to?
I know it's hard but you'll get through it.

Buna.

If you look in the mindset area, you can find people in the fastlane mentality there. Maybe you can set up a group of online aspiring fastlaners there to keep in check.with there.

Try searching here for online and remote oppotunites. You could ask for ideas that fit those and your skills.

You do have the advantage of a very low cost of living area, so it won't take much to move out. What €500 a month or so?

I can live in the biggest city in Romania which is also the capital of our country, Bucharest. The rent at mininum is 400 euros and the food it's like 100? if I want to go to the gym another 20 bucks. It's pretty cheap. But I wanna go to Canada. Read the other thread Suggestions for youngsters it's in the top to know a bit more of the story.
