Hey guys,

I have been an occasional poster and long time lurker on these forums. I had a business that was doing well that is barely profitable anymore. This business was easy street. High pay and little work. Probably the ideal situation for most people. Some things outside my control have caused this income to slowly disappear.

Not needing to work has caused me to get very lazy. As I have seen my income go down, I get less motivated. Less motivation means less work. This has been a bad cycle.

Other things have caused me to get generally depressed. I think I can do every business someone posts on here. I have taken a few different courses about starting business in different industries. I see the opportunity in every venture. I get excited, plan things (action fake?) and then don't execute. I feel overwhelmed with everything I can do and end up doing nothing (choice paradox at its finest).

I have been in this cycle for a little over a year. My money situation has gotten worse. Something needs to change soon.

I have been hesitant to announce publicly what I am doing so I can save face in case it doesn't go well. I have struggled with people pleasing for a long time. I have grown a lot in that area and others over time. My life as a whole has improved in a lot of areas, just not business and financially.

This is where things change. I will execute over the next 30 days. I have a clear plan from one of the courses I took. I am going to work on this 30 day challenge I found to start a PPC agency from scratch. I will post the work I do each day. It is not a large stretch goal initially, I just need some momentum to get started. I will work ahead some days to make up for when I won't be able to work.

If I do not successfully complete it, then I will donate $100 to planned parenthood (a non-profit I disagree with). I will post a screen shot here for proof of the donation if I don't do the work.

If I follow the 30 day challenge and my finances have not improved, I will be taking a regular w2 sales job. This is not ideal and I wouldn't be on this forum if that was my goal, but that is where I stand right now. Hopefully this is the extra kick in the butt I need to get things going.

Follow my progress below.

Following, as this is what I am currently attempting. "Building an agency" is not very specific. Define better goals for better results.

What client acquisition channels will you be using?
Are you doing all around ppc (IG, FB, AdWords, Pinterest, Amazon?), or will you specialize and niche down?
Adding to the last one, what is your target client profile? Many businesses use some form of PPC, what do you specialize in to separate yourself from the heaps of other marketers doing "ppc management". Eg, Google Shopping for E commerce, lead gen for service businesses, etc. Specialize and double down on your best attributes and skillset to drive better customers.

Finished the things for day one. I had a ton of excuses flood my brain as to why this is dumb. After taking more time than I care to admit before doing it, I pushed through.

1. Updated facebook profile and cover photo
2. Delete unproffesional posts from FB (I had done these before)
3. Update my FB Bio to what I do
4. Make a list of at least 10 business on Groupon that can benefit from my service.

I will be generating leads for local businesses using facebook. I will get a conversation started with those who don't have the FB pixel on their site, the amount of money it is costing them in lost revenue, and go from there.

I might niche down if I get good case studies for a particular niche.

How can you tell if they do not have the FB pixel installed?
