I'm going to spare everyone a giant wall of text so I'm going to keep this as brief as possible.

What will I be doing?
My plan is to import and sell products on amazon that are UNIQUE or better than the competitors, I will not be slapping up generic products.

Why am I creating a process thread?
- I feel as if i document my progress it will be good to look back on, as well as good information for others.

- To be held accountable for my actions or lack of action.

- I also hope to find people that are in the same field, that I can talk to on a regular basis and share knowledge with one another.

What I am currently working on:
As of right now I don't want to get bogged down on every single step it takes to start an ecommerce product line/brand. So I am going to be practicing just in time learning and will only focus on what currently needs to be done in order to move forward, and that's finding viable products that fit my specific criteria.

That's about it for now. This thread will probably be fairly boring and dull until I get some products up and running.

Would like to give thanks to the following users for the inspirational threads and or willingness to share information on the forum it has benefited me greatly. @biophase @PTP @JByers210 @hughjasle

Cool, man. I am around the same progress too. I have the product figured out and still in the negotiation stage with manufacturers. But, I don't know what steps to take after this. I don't know how to market it, run ads, etc. Or even set up a personal website for the product. All the logistics stuff I am clueless about. So, I am feeling nervous. I want to move forward but I don't want to move too fast.

Update #1:

Its been a few weeks already and lately I've been very distracted with crypto currencies. I realized this was a huge problem and drastically cut down on time spent on them. Although on a positive note I've made around 1500 additional dollars i can invest into my first product.
So far I've found about 5 potential products, I will continue to look until I find better products. Looking back on the ideas I have already came up with, They don't seem as noteworthy as when i first wrote them down.

As of right now I just need to hunker down on finding a product.

What methods are you using to find products?
Are you using JungleScout? I recommend it.
I use junglescouts chrome extension to get a rough idea on how well things sell. But thats about it. I just dive down into different categories niches etc looking for problems.

Same here my friend. Make sure to look out for whitelabellers and check what they're selling.
