I feel like I read both books too fast without understanding the main points.

Now I'm halfway done with TMF and I'm taking notes especially on the the summaries at the end of eachis chapter.

I'm getting a very different understanding the second time.

If you're struggling with finding focus, and slowly slipping back to the slowlane or the sidewalk, read the book(s) one more time.

You'll be surprised about how much useful info you missed the first time.

I've come to the conclusion that most people "action fake" book reading. Instead of reading and truly absorbing the message, they skim around like it's a web page and then try to fool themselves into feeling great about finishing a book.

The books are the accumulation of all the questions we get here at the forum and their proper, official answers. And yet despite the clear answers in both books, the questions continually get repeated.

For example, if someone claims to have read the books and they STILL don't know how to find an idea, they "action-faked" the books.

Completing a book means nothing if one cannot comprehend it.

I've read 40 books this year! Oh yea, how many did you actually comprehend? Then apply?

Anyhow, I realize my writing can be verbose, but there is a method in that madness.

Thanks, @MJ DeMarco!! Your writing is great and easy to understand compared to the academic writing that I had to deal with for years.

I knew I had to read TMF and Unscripted again when I found myself online looking for more books. I couldn't even explain to my brother what TMF was about in one sentence when I was recommending the book to him.

I thought it would be time-consuming reading the books again but time went by anyway.

So many irrelevant questions on this Forum could be avoided is most people actually read and comprehended the book(s).

Back to reading!
