Finally arrived to my parents place for Labor day weekend & me and the old man went to get lunch

He started telling me about a real estate training course hes doing with some guy named Buffoni

And somewhere along the lines he said "according to him (Buffoni) Mark Cuban got lucky"

Almost spilled my tea

Lucky?
I'm sure Buffoni also thinks its lucky for him to have to wait till happy hour to be able to eat bar food?
Living in a room with 6 bros from college? Staying up till the AM reading manuals? Getting screwed over by his secretary out of $48,000?

Anyone can leave their house and find a wallet on the street one day,
If I told you I found a wallet every single time I went walking on the streets you would call BS, and rightfully so, in my 20 years of walking I've yet to come across one

So is it an event? Or was it a process?
Did he work towards building an empire every single day or did he play some raffle?
I thought so.

Buffoni is hating hard, who's he mad at Cuban or himself? Maybe Cuban can share some of this $90,000 champagne?

It's so easy for everyone to tell you
Take it slow
Youre gonna burn out
Youre too young
Youre too old
Youre too fat
Youre too anything
He got lucky
He knew the right people
He was in the right place/time

Don't Listen
You got a dream? Go get it
Stay up late, eat ramen noodles, read everything you can

It's even EASIER for you to tell yourself you cant
I dont have money
I dont have ideas
I dont know anyone
Who would buy from me
I need to go slow

Don't fall into that trap, where your mind goes your body (& bank account) will follow

You think I became good at selling overnight? Hell no, I stayed up until 3 am reading books going through bottles of Advil and cans of Monster.

I'm about to go into my next venture & I know it will be the same, scared? nope. excited? you bet

Guys, if you are born into this world with a fully able body & mind you have all the luck you need.

Quite motivational.

Any suggestions on some books?

I have read TMF thus far.

Wrong section. Belongs in Mindset and Motivation.

How many times are we going to discuss the extent to which luck is or isn't involved in entrepreneurship.

After college and MLM, luck is going to take 3rd spot soon.

Learned a new word. Thanks bro.

The mantra on my personal home poker table...

If you can't read the inscription it reads:

There's no such thing as luck... only probabilities.
