I am an aspiring entrepreneur (MJ's book is the chief culprit) / trader (due to interest/hobby) who is currently working at a financial insitutation. Came to this forum mainly due to the book, and to soak up the vibe and get inspiration and (hopefully) help for my (future) business ventures.
Right now my plan of attack is to develop a business / income stream based on MJ's CENTS model, and trading happens to fulfil that niche (as far as I can tell). Not the trading that is manual, stationed by the screen 24/7, but the automatic type. Will concentrate on first building a viable method, and see if that works. And later possibly spinning it off as different products online.
My background is in IT (web application development [Java, RoR]), and (some) financial engineering, if you're wondering. I've gone into MLM before, tried a few courses (eBay / internet marketing, options + forex trading) and read a few books - think the time is way past ripe to hit the road with tires squealing 😀.
Goals are to attain the freedom trinity that MJ so aptly describes in his book: to do what I want, when I want, and where I want. (The specifics are still a work-in-progress, but the main motivation for me is to attain freedom... to wake up naturally in the morning!)
