If money is the only fixation I treasure in my life, and it is, and I finally realize that nothing would make me happy except money. And then enough money to be safely retired, and to enjoy my life. I just do not see how I could achieve this massive wealth with who I am right now, and now I come to the reality I need to go to college, since I have nothing else better going on with my life. I'm not any closer to millions than I was a few months ago.
I don't see myself as the next Bill Gates, or some huge entrepreneur. I am growing older, and I am wasting to many days of my life trapped in a mediocre existence of a person. It's like drowning in a pool of wanting something more to life, and even though my life doesn't truly suck as some people... it's still boring. I haven't begun anything yet, since I made many excuses. So I have to change in that aspect.
I feel like I should contribute to the world, like take people into a different dimension. If I was a singer I would want to take them on a trip to somewhere wholely new, or if I was an author it would be a fantasy world. I guess that's where I am now... I know what I am, where I am going (college, and hopefully make some other form of income besides part-time job)...
But I see myself bigger than just society ranks, or money, or objects like that. I would love to be the CEO of Blizzard (they created WoW). Video games seem so amazing to feel this escapism from reality, and that's where I think my whole heart is at.
If I had the path to that, then I would do that. Knowledge is power I suppose, and I feel like something just totally needs to feel this void in my being. I know I must work for it, but it just doesn't seem clear. College/Grad school might be the only way I could be rich in this life.... College seems so safe, so I decided to do it.
Does anyone feel like they are incompetent to make millions before they finished their college education? I guess I feel like I need the path to millions written down in steps 1-10, but that's not the answer for all millionaires.
But I don't want to look back in 2020 and see the 10's as wasted years. I don't want to be an average person making 100-300 k in 10 years either. I read the fastlane to millions (not finished with it), but it wasn't like, "Oh WOW! Life changing! Amazing", it was just like, "Yeah, but this is common sense... but good advice"
I guess I feel like this invisible wall to massive wealth; it's like I need something to get there.
