Realize you won't just hate it (unless you are a proverbial master at mental gung-fu), and resolve to say "I don't like my addiction to chocolate. I'm going to move on to a life without chocolate, even if I get pangs of loss or desire. I'll live with it, and fill the void with other things."
Really, what do you expect him to do? Any form of revenge is going to just wind up hurting him. If he gives a shit about this woman, suggesting he do something like destroy her ID, or call the cops, or whatever, is just like saying to someone "Hey, since your daughter got mad at you and flushed your car keys down the toilet, put all her toys in a bucket and burn them!" Yeah. Might "teach the little shit a lesson", but if you can do that without giving yourself the "biggest scumbag of the year" award, stay the hell away from anyone I care about under threat of baseball bat.
Quite frankly, the businessmen are sharks mentality is disgusting. Literally, most people will shrivel up their nose and bare their teeth at that statement. They'll probably get images in their head of shady men in suits with lawyers holding some blackmail material telling your grandpa to close his shop so they can build a new mini-mall.
These borderline mafia types can do whatever the hell they want with their fear pretending to be respect. I'll be far happier with the real respect of people that give a shit about what I do, not who I bury.
