I had a interesting idea tonight. If you started with 1 dollar how long would it take you to reach 1 million dollars through the buying and re-selling method?
If you brake it down your answer really doesn't seem so bad.
Look at it like this. . .
1 + 1 = 2
2 +2 = 4
4 + 4 = 8
8 + 8 = 16 and so on. . .
You would have to double your money 20 times to reach one million dollars.
Doubling your money is not hard, when we try to triple or quadruple our money the risks gets higher.
Let's say you have 5,000 dollars.
Your goal would not be to make 25,000 dollars
Your goal would be to make 10,000 dollars.
When you have 10,000 your new goal would be to make 20,000.
When you have 20,000 your new goal would be to make 40,000 and so on. . . Just 1 step at a time.
focus on the new goal instead of the destination which was 1,000,000 dollars
This is nothing but simple math and I'm sure none of you lost your breathe reading this but think about it.
Next time you waste a dollar take a second to consider you could of turned that into 1 million dollars.
If you focus on the baby steps and break it down, the whole process seems a lot easier.
Maybe I have been over complicating the whole process. Whatever the cause, I'll start appreciating every dollar I spend for now on.
