Hey everyone,
I've been around here for a while, but I've finally decided to get more involved in the forum.
I'm a 34-year-old guy from Poland. I currently have a pretty decent job as an engineer, but working a 9-to-5 just doesn't suit me.
On the side, I run a small Starlink rental business. It doesn't make a ton of money, but I have a few long-term contracts that bring in steady income. Unfortunately, there isn't much room to scale because of Starlink's restrictions, and the business is heavily dependent on another company. So I've decided to keep it running at its current level. It's mostly automated and barely needs my attention.
I've also been buying and selling used woodworking machinery for the past few years. At the beginning of 2026, I decided to really push this business and see how far I could take it in one year. Over the last 10 months, I've gone from having just one machine in stock to five (each worth anywhere from $1k to $3-4k).
The problem is, I've realized this isn't really a path to the Fastlane. It depends too much on my own time, and I have very little control over supply.
Right now, I'm seriously considering getting into e-commerce. My plan is to start testing products and eventually, hopefully, build my own brand.
But this is completely new territory for me. I have a lot to learn, and I'm hoping to find some knowledge and maybe a bit of guidance from people who've been down this road before.
That's pretty much where I'm at right now.
