Currently 25 years old with three years of experience working in the corporate world in tech sales, specifically focused in CPaaS (communications platform as a service) - all the companies i've worked for have helped organizations commmunicate with customers through various channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, chatbots, etc ...

Got laid off in August from my most recent job due to restructuring (a year and a half before that same thing happened at a different org) - job market is f*cked right now in tech so I decided to take my sales skill set and industry knowledge to sell AI powered chatbots that truly automate customer service. Been cold calling since yesterday to VP's of Customer Experience at companies with customer support agents and I booked a confirmed meeting with my first prospect on friday!

Going to obsess over how to run meetings with new customers and how to position myself until then ... will keep y'all posted

Will follow your progress. B2B Sales is an exciting job and the sky's the limit. At the same time, the bar is low to be decent. I was 'sold to' today in a sales call and I hate those sellers that try to 'run' the meeting. It's better if they are curious and open to hear our needs. Not assume them.

As a "former" Tech sales rep, I will follow your progress.
And I agree with @Jobless the new way of selling is no script. Just be a master at what you do, don't be needy nor greedy, and just have an opened conversation man. You expertise will do the job for you!

Good luck
