Where do you live?

What's the minimum wage there?

If you can write, there are several websites that pays you to write articles like Listverse, TutorialsPoint and GeeksforGeeks, you can make around $500/month.

Use the money to run web design ads on Facebook targeting high income countries like US, UK and Canada, outsource the jobs to freelancers on Fiverr for $20.

Or you can bust your a$$ and learn how to trade the Forex Markets and start trading for proprietary firms like FTMO.com

Or start selling under wears to 40+ adults, I heard it's an untapped niche.
I live in Nigeria. The minimum wage here is around $100 dollars a month.

I don't like writing. Also, those websites that pay to write articles, do they allow you to join with ease? Or is entry stressful?

Trading forex caught my eye. It's difficult. I've tried to learn it in the past but I don't really get it. Do you know any resource I can learn to trade forex from?

I'm not interested in selling underwears

I live in Nigeria too lol

Yeah, it isn't stressful at all, they'll give you a test and if you pass it you'll get in

And for Forex, go to Babypips.com and learn, search for Inner Circle Trader on YT and learn his concepts, demo trade for a while and take it to the prop firms doors.

I'm surprised you didn't caught the under wears joke

Thanks. I'll search for it.

Wait a minute, "salesman on video". Does that mean people will see me while I make the sale? If that's what it is, I can't. I'm camera shy and an introvert
At this point, what do you want to do ?

You say no hard skills, and now you also disqualify yourself from every soft skill...

You are shy and introverted and don't want to work on that, yet you also don't want to do anything technical. That means there is literally nothing left for you to do. Either you decide to leave your comfort zone or you will be stuck in your exact position until the day you die.

Ok, I'll try and work on my shyness

Also, since the soft skill you mentioned doesn't align with me, tell me any technical skills you know and I'll pick the one that interests me

Thanks. Your reply is very inspiring. I haven't found my strengths yet. But when I do, I'll learn a skill around that.

Does my strengths have to do with being intrested in that skill, or having passion, excitement and enthusiasm for it. Is there confusion around it?

Also, when you learned copywriting, where you enthusiastic and had passion for it, together with the strength?
All that matters is that you're good at it and you don't dislike it. I didn't wake up dreaming about copywriting. It was a way to make money. But then I didn't hate it either. I somewhat enjoyed the process and I was good at it.

Thanks for replying.

The last paragraph caught my eye. "Enjoyed the process"? What? I've seen people say that and it amazes me. How can you possibly "enjoy process"?

When I was reading TMF , around the chapter about the story of starting his business, MJ said, he "enjoyed it" and "had passion" for it. Since he was helping people, it "addicted him to the process "

Apart from saying that in a skill, it is more shocking in entrepreneurship.

To be entirely honest, I'm more about events. I avoid process like a plague, and I just discovered that this year.

I know, from the Unscripted book, that the human brain is automatically wired for events and not process. But for me, it's like I've trained my brain to like events. So combine that with human nature, and you get a lump turd.

And while we're on the subject, I'm trying to chase an event now, which is around $100, and it seems almost impossible to raise the money to chase it. I'm saving money to chase it, but it's ungodly slow. I predicted that by the time I finally have money from savings, it will take months. And remember when MJ said time is more important that money? Shit.

I know it's kind of pathetic, and to know that there are people who pay up to $1000 to an online guru. What?

Then I concluded that if I should learn a skill, something that can bring money, I can use it to chase the event. Ironic, right? I need to pass through process to chase an event. No wonder MJ said "without process, there is no event". Or am I getting it twisted?

So in conclusion, im trying to train my brain to start liking process. It seems difficult making the transition. I need help!

If you check my profile, you'll see a thread I made earlier this year about trying to stop chasing events.

I know about but bubble, and I wanted to get into it before, but I stopped because it seemed a little complicated

It's kind of techy. Can you recommend anything to me that doesn't have to do with tech? Thanks

Thanks. But you're talking more about "opportunities", "solving problems" and "entrepreneurship". I'm not interested in those for now. I just want to make some cash now. Maybe entrepreneurship can come later.

I'm re-reading TMF and I recently read the chapter about oil change and that information is freely available and should not come loaded with conformity or parasitic debt.

I want to learn a skill from an inexpensive resource that will make me money and I'm currently struggling.

People in this forum that have learned a skill and made money from it, please refer me to a link where you learned your skill from.

I'm really broke and I live in a third world country. So these resources should please be free or not be more than $10 or higher than $20. I would really prefer free resources.

And also, I don't really like tech skills or digital skills. They seem kind of hard. I'm looking for soft skills. But you can still recommend the tech or digital skills if you know any.

Lastly, pls don't recommend web development or anything related to programming. I started it last year but I now dislike it.

Thank you.

If you are really broke then why care for the opinion of other people for taking menial jobs? You're just holding yourself back. You have a problem on how you see things. If you can just reframe how to see things to serve you, you will get fast money.
I'm not really that broke. I still live with my parents and I'm taken care of and have many basic necessities like food, shelter, clothing, etc...

I just want money for a lavish lifestyle and ultimately, to be rich

What is the hard work? Pls don't mention entrepreneurship. Something else. I'll still do entrepreneurship, but not now
Cut loose, my friend. Go live alone and plan how you can earn money to sustain your basic needs.

I don't want to live alone at the moment. I'm still in college and I don't have a job yet.

BTW, if I was to live alone and take care of my basic needs, I'll need to have a skill that I can use to earn money. Can you recommend any?

Wow, we've got some real winners here as of late.

I just want to make some cash now.

Get a job.

Either this forum is getting weak, or the more successful members of this forum are starting to realize people that come here with this mentality are nearly too far gone.

Bingo.

I commend you for the patience. I don't help people who refuse to learn, or want to learn within the narrow confines of their comforts.

The best reply after reading everything

1)You don't want a tech skill
2)You don't want loads of cash
3)You are an introvert
4)You are shy
5)You are searching something to interest you but when people give you ideas, you shut them down without trying it
6)You want to make a quick buck

The best advice for you is to get a job. No questions asked, don't continue this thread. You need a job more than you think. A waste of time. Go get a job and learn hard work

I've said several times that jobs in my country don't pay really well. Besides, I'm still in college. Can you suggest something else?
