How can I value my time more?
I've tried for the last few months by logically only spending time on valuable things that'll move things forward but I'm failing over and over. As in, at this rate I won't even move a step forward before I die lol. For context, I'm in a 9-5 and have no fastlane business yet. What I'm going off of is I've met some people who value their time and have learned a bit from them and I can tell when people don't value their time because they're always free and they focus on filling their schedule even if it's with meaningless activities. So I'm trying to become more like the people who do value their time and less like the people who don't.
I'm probably better at valuing my time than I used to be but I'm still utterly failing compared to what I need to do to make progress getting anywhere in the next decade and am wondering what to learn to do better. Some things I've wasted time on recently are texting all day with friends, texting all morning with a friend instead of working on my future, spending time with friends complaining about our lives and week after week neither of us is making progress on the goals we share, I also walk too slow and waste time, grocery shop too slow, take too long at the gym to workout because I'm on my phone texting or just spacing out in between sets
