Yay - thanks again MJ for making sure my buddy's ticket is good too! This might be the most internationally diverse meetup to date. He's coming in from Tokyo, Japan - and I believe we have people from several other continents this time too?

I've been a bit of a lurker for most of my time here, but I've made it a goal to be more active. So I figured I'd post my progress thread/intro... just in case ;D

I apparently forgot to add in my intro that I'm also an artist for fun, not profit (learned the hard way to not "do what you love" for a living -___- )

Probably not my best idea going into so much student debt for more or less a "hobby" but my Fastlane pursuits are actually needing some of my training, so maybe it'll pay off in the end.

If you're ever in need of Photoshop or Illustrator help, or just art in general, just message me. I'm happy to be able to pay something back for all the help you've all given me, even if you don't know you've done so

I'm so excited to get to meet so many of you at the Meetup!

Ok, so I had this template from when I did last years meetup and I know it was helpful to some... so I just redid it real quick for 2016.. feel free to use it again if you like...

@Red, @Eskil, @AllenCrawley , @Vigilante , @MJ DeMarco - Sorry to call you guys out, but if you guys want to use it, I figure you guys may be the best ones to verify it for accuracy based on the most up to date information. I pulled the speaker information from this thread and the schedule from the other meetup thread. Not sure if topics or speakers changed since then.

The document is completely editable, so feel free to update, change, print or just ignore it altogether. I have a backup in case someone feels the need to get a bit crazy with edits.

Hey All-

Just a reminder: I could use a volunteer for the BulletProof Coffee station! You don't have to know how/what, just be willing to learn & it's super simple.

We'll be doing BP coffee from 7am - 8am each morning (no blending during presentations that start at 8am), so there's a time commitment. Sobriety for this position is preferred, but not required, so @GlobalWealth, don't be afraid to speak up!

Job requirements:

Show up at 7am.
Understand the concept of a blender.
Be able to wield a knife without harming yourself or others.
Smile.

I found a round trip for $170 from RSW. It was kind of a pain in the a$$ and it was spirit air but everyone has $170.

I ended up paying an extra $100 so I could get on a United flight and get my miles and sit in the lounge and work on my layover but c'mon y'all.

Man am I excited for this. There are two big trips I am going on this year that did not fit into my budget or my schedule. I just went ahead and booked them anyways. You know what? I made them work!

Well the second one has no logistics yet, and doesn't fit into my schedule, but I still booked the trip anyways. If I sit by and let excuses run my life nothing will ever happen.
