No thanks

All in favor of the organizer of a private invitation only conference arranging the conference details...

When you:
  • sell your company (twice)
  • write a book based on what you learn about it
  • the book becomes a best seller
  • and earns a cult following
  • and you then create a web site where entrepreneurs gather
  • which then becomes one of the top trafficked entrepreneur web sites in the world
  • so you then decide to create a gathering, which sells out in 30 minutes and
  • attracts visitors from across the world
you then can concept an event, which you could host, where ever you want in the world.

As for today, I would be happy just if I receive an invitation to attend what I consider to be one of the most exclusive tickets for any event anywhere in the world.

Hey @Vigilante. Chill man. He asked if anyone was in favor of Vegas. I said "no thanks."

Someone woke up feeling frisky this morning. :D

And of course, I know that I'm not owed anything with respect to a ticket either....

If I owned the joint, I would make it so that the tickets were first available to those with a certain speed points balance before it opened up to the general public. That would make it so that a regular contributor to the forum had a better shot at the limited availability for the guaranteed sell out venue than the newbie who happens to be online at the right time. You could even do a sliding scale, with the first days ticket sales to the high achievers, second day to low to mid tier, and final day for newbies/non-contributors. It would also encourage people to step up their game between now and then. It's OK if there are no tickets left for newbies... they can hang around for a year and build up their rep before they get access to the golden ticket.

Wow. I humbly bow out.

Sounds like you're taking the easy way out. If you really want to go you won't let another person's opinion get in your way.

Vig's comment came right after my original post, you know what I'm doing? I'm not humbly bowing out, I'm going to try to create a thread to provide value. I'm getting out of my comfort zone, all because his comment motivated me to do something.

It was a gesture of giving up a seat to those more seasoned members that have come before me out of respect.

Right @Bila, it's time to step up!

Wouldn't want to miss the Summit (although I am a little wary of whatever the "human centipede" is. haha)

I have "Become a High Achiever" on my list of things to do now. ;)

Now....back to surfing the internet.

So I guess I should stop giving all my speed points away to @Andy Black

As far as topics I am qualified to present on, the following is where I am most qualified to help the attendees:

How to create a bulletproof mindset that turns obstacles and failures into your greatest asset.
  1. Goal Setting: There is no step-by-step path to success, but there is a structure for success. When you understand the structure of setting goals, and then finding the resources to make yourself possible, this can apply to any goal you work towards. By using this, I was able to go from a hardcase newbie in November 2011 to growing two profitable companies including a digital magazine company to 840,000 downloads, travel 10,000 miles living in all parts of the country, live off of passive income for 18 months, and build a new company that has reached over $1,600 net profit in one day...on the EXACT day I set out six months prior. While these are just examples of surface level goals I accomplished, they are my goals. Yours are different, and the same process will apply to yours as well. (Don't worry @MJ DeMarco - I'll leave out the crazy stuff I talk about at poker night).
  2. Motivation & Taking Action: How to cure procrastination, and use the biological programming of your body and your unconscious mind to take action on anything, while not losing motivation when you don't see results right away. When my business crashed for the first time in December 2014, I spent 30 days procrastinating. While I was making $9 per day, I bought a new car for $26,000 on financing and signed a lease on an apartment 2,000 miles away. Two days later I took all the action needed to fix my business. Why did the car and apartment help?
  3. Skills & Capabilities: How "I don't know how to do that" will no longer be an excuse when you "learn how to learn". You will be able to find the resources you need to learn anything you need to for success.
  4. Unconscious Filters in our mind: How our unconscious filters, limiting beliefs, and unconscious values cause incongruence with our goals, and how to reprogram our unconscious mind to be 100% aligned with what we want to achieve.
  5. Possible topic - Unconscious Influence & Persuasion: I could present on how to use metaphors, language patterns, and symbols to unconsciously influence and persuade others. I do this strictly when I coach others to get past obstacles in their life, but at the same time this is very powerful information that many people might be tempted to use for their personal benefit. I'll let the organizers of the event decide how in depth I should go on this.

Ben's been playfully hinting to MJ since the last meetup that the next Summit be held in Vegas but I believe he knows that ain't happening. LOL.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Vig wasn't targeting your post with his 'rant'.

Really looking forward to the upcoming Summit. Last year was the best yet.

For those that have never been just visit last years thread to get a taste.

I'm in if you'll have me. Just missed it last year since I was new to the forum. Had a few small attempts that went nowhere so far and looking for the next opportunity. Recently went to TrendHunter's first ever Future Festival and got some renewed energy. Need to have a better network of people I regularly interact with to help increase the odds of finding the right opportunity.

I would love to come, but I'll be the noob who doesn't know anyone since I just joined the forum recently.

I saw so many members are based in Scottsdale so I actually flew out there for a weekend a couple of weeks ago to check out the environment.

Will watch the thread for set date and when I can pay.

If you don't take steps to overcome this mindset, I fear for your future business plans. Most of us are NOT based in Scottsdale, over 90% of that photo above (or more?!??) is people from out of state/country. I only knew a small handful going in but, holy shit, by the end of it, I knew a whole lot more.

ps: I actually wasn't even on the forum for my first B&P. It was only after going & meeting some good people that I joined up.

I was a noob to the Summit last year and it was incredible! I learned so much and met some great people! Everyone's story is different. I have not contributed a lot due to obligations but I am looking forward to being more involved. I am now a free man due to this forum and you can be to! I look forward to being more involved now that my business is free from my 9 to 5.

Please consider this when deciding who can attend. Just my two cents....
