The idea
Starting a facebook page about memes.
The name of the page is a slang word used a lot in memes.
At first I will share memes from other meme pages.
And then start making my own with my page name on.

The audience
Young people 15 25 who use that word a lot.

The value
There is no one doing this here in my country.
The word used is really witty and people would like to wear it as a hype thing for showing off inside the hype .


The goal
To make a large enough audience
And then start selling t shirts with the slang word used in the page tittle.

Before starting selling I will also create a one page one product site.

I have a friend who has 2 pages on insta of memes with 1million + followes(LEGIT), he tryed selling merchandise etc.. but 1:you lose followers 2: it pays more to let other people pay for ads on your page, he makes some good money but not enough considering he spent 1.5 years building them up organically .

If you get like 10 milion followers than maybe you could live off of that but my friend is very far from covering his life expenses... he's in talks to sell them one for 22.5k one for 40k €, I've always debated paying him 50€ to see how many followers I recruit but my personal page has just me doing pranks + being cool but I'm F*cking no one so why should people follow me if they don't know who I am?
From what I see when chicks get sponsored on his pages they gain anywhere from 5 to 15k of followers, male fake entrepeneur type of idiots get like 1/10th of that.

Do it has a hobby but from a fastlane point of view you better point your work somewhere else.

EDIT: worth to note his content is in english and his audience is all over the place, considering you'll be doing it in your country and your language MAYBE there's more potential even for people sponsoring etc...
Also he grows a ton of new meme pages off of his two main ones, gets them to around 100k and sells them, I'd say it takes him about 2 months to get one there so idk.

I dont want to sh!t on your idea, but a meme page to sell t-shirts?
Leaving aside the fact that there is no value in this outside of a few laughs for a few people, lets look at it from a cents perspective.

1. No control, you dont control facebook OR the company that will manufacture your shirts. You can be cutoff at any time.
2. Very low barier to entry.
3. Very little if any need for the 12895th meme page.
4. Requires your time in perpetuity. No memes or shirts, no money.
5. Can be scaled easily through an outside shirt producing service.

So you got 1/5.
Bad idea, move onto the next one, dont waste your time.

and it is not time consuming for me now.

i have the facebook page set up and the instagram set up
around 130 likes organic
i have a friend stay at home mommy that is an internet addict that gave her the role to post on my page. and she posts every day.
was thinking of puting some money on fb ads to generate likes.

the facebook - young people thing is something i must revise.


as far as my fastlane project that is a different story. will write about that when i have some big sales. right now it is on the go.

I have found facebook ads to be a waste of money, might of just had a bad experience, Instagram is alot better IMO

Don’t spend money on this project, all the growth of meme pages is organic or you’re just posting low quality non funny stuff.
Like when was the last time you saw any meme advertised? Yeah, exactly!

Maybe in Greek it can work. Think there are not many greece meme pages.
But make it as a hobby and don’t push the business in it. The audience will notice.

I tried to create a carnivore instagram page once, i underestimated the work engaging with audience and constant posting demand , and quickly gave up. How was i helping people, how was i giving value? I wasn't.
