for those who are wondering what the hack is 6 degrees of separation?
Six degrees of separation is the idea that all people are six, or fewer, social connections away from each other. Also known as the 6 Handshakes rule. As a result, a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.(according to Wikipedia)
in simple terms, you are only 6 people away from connecting to anybody(say Donald trump, bill gates, anyone on the planet).
I am about to start my youtube channel in the coding niche, I had some more very compelling and sound reasons to start.
this concept reinforces why you should put yourself out there.
Story:
within this week there was an incident with this old man in Delhi selling food in his small food stall but due to COVID he was hit very very hard, he does not even have a mobile so don't expect bank account or anything.
a guy made a video of him, showed how he was suffering, and asked people to help and donate for their help.
the video went viral!
He does not need a lot of money(very low need, as he used to earn so little), but I do have a feeling that he will blow all of his money just lottery winners which he got by peoples support or spend none like thrifty Indians, but he will have publicity which will serve him for years.
media is trying to cover him, people donated more than 400,000 INR(I belive which is huge as he used to earn 500 INR on a very good day and now was earning 80 INR which was more than his expense). His shop got repainted and advertisements are now on his shop. Its soo crowded to get to his shop, people are waiting in line to eat from the stall(yep, no social distancing at all).
His life turned around within a week
I don't want to post his video as Its an entrepreneurship forum.
but the key takeaway from this story is Putting yourself out there changes everything.
this post is for me, to motivate me who is delaying in producing content.
