Romo hasn't been himself this year, but Brad Johnson is a statue. I expect it to be Bledsoe all over again, which isn't a good thing for this life long Cowboys fan. The only silver lining I can see is that Brad makes smarter throws and will dump the ball off to Felix and Marion more often, and every time either of them get the ball in their hands, they could break it for a TD.

Yup, their line is gonna have to step up. For their sake, the Cowboys will probably have to lean on Barber more now. I think Felix is injured now, but I could be wrong. Maybe TO and Witten will get more action now, too.

Felix is injured, strained hamstrain, and the offensive line has been getting their butt whipped. Special teams gave away 14 points. And it looks like TO isn't really fighting for the ball. Man, that Az receiver just reached right over Anthony Henry's head and took the ball. He wanted that ball. I haven't seen that lately from TO, except when he scored the TD last week against Cinci.

What's that sound? I think I heard the wheels fall off. Man I hate this, thought this was gonna be one of those story book years. Oh well, I still have a few NASCAR races to watch.

Yeah, but that receiver was Andre Johnson. The dude's a beast. I think TO is more of a possession receiver that catches slants and then makes big plays after the catch as opposed to making spectacular catches on jump balls like that.

True, it may be a different style of receiver but you still have to be determined that the ball coming your way is YOURS. Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice used to fight for the ball. For the premier receiver he thinks himself to be, TO doesn't fight for the ball.

Yep. Sports are more mental than anybody who hasn't played them will believe. If it was strictly up to talent, Randy Moss would have 200 yards and 3 TDs every game.

Focus and motivation are just as important as talent in sports. In some sports, losing focus for just one play (or batter in baseball) can be the difference between a win and a loss.

You got it.

I really do like TO lately as a public person. He seems to be maturing and getting his public act together. I do believe he was baited by ESPN after the Washington game. He was asked if he got the ball enough and his answer was no. A big deal was made about it. So, stinkin what. I would think that any professional player in any sport would want to be a key player in every single play. Isn't that what athletes dream of since they were like 4 years old? So, I think TO's response was absolutely appropriate and said with the right attitude. Then he gets grief all week. I just wish he would commit to take the ball.

I don't mind TO has a public figure. He's similar to Chad Johnson. They may run their mouths, but they aren't criminals. TO is actually a pretty good guy according to a lot of people who know him, but he just gets viewed in the wrong light by the media. You can take that whichever way you want -- believe it or don't -- but I don't have a huge problem with him.
