I am a big fan of Win the Day Method by Andy Frisella which you can find described here :
Win The Day, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO107
I used it for years now and it worked well for me. Only recently I discovered that it is actually 100 years old method with some modification:

So far I used pure Andy's method, now I will go 6 tasks and I will keep moving tasks to next day like Ivy recommends instead of crossing the day out, I will simply not write this day if I didn't complete 5. So my small variation of both combined. But there are pretty similar.
I won't describe it here because it is described in both links fully, I am happy to see comments of ppl who use it and how well does it work for them.
