Why the Cheap Will Never Get Rich

A lot of it has to do with the way that you present yourself. I am a big fan of RK (he completely changed my mentality). However, I don't always agree with the way that he acts. Too often in his articles, books, and tv shows he will address negative comments that were made by the media and various journalists. While there is nothing wrong with defending oneself, it seems like a waste of time. Why bother? There is no need for him to explain himself to someone who will never understand.

Take the comments with a grain of salt. Controversy makes great publicity. You will always have critics. The manner in which you deal with it determines the outcome.

I used to think Kiyosaki was special. I don't now. Instead I see the condescending childish attitude, the droning on and on about the same old thing, the "I'm better than you because I got rich off of selling my books to believers", etc., etc.

Not that everything he says is wrong. His books opened up my mind to new possibilities. Just that he needs a better delivery and a good dose of reality from time to time.
