I'm planning a trip to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area in mid December to spend a few days looking for a place and check out the area. I'm moving there in early January and I'm just looking for a little 1 bedroom apartment in a decent area. Any locals have suggestions on places I should visit? Or, places I should stay away from? If there was a trail to run or bike on near by, that wouldn't hurt.
