Hi all.
So Im in the beauty business and opend my gates to my first, own clinic 1st of February.
Demand has been through the roof and we have been fully booked from day 1 and I will hire my second emplyee this week and my third during the summer.
My plan has always been to expand but Im unsure when.
I have already started to look for other locals in other cities and have found a couple that is very interesting. Due to covid, a lot of comercial properties with AAA location is now avaliable so I am thinking of opening the second clinic before the world bounces back and I will loose the opportunity to get the super attractive locations.
I am however worried that the expansion will be too agressive and I grow too fast due to my own inexperience of handling a new business, let alone 2. So far however, everything is going very smooth. Almost too smoth.
It will also double my staff and double my problem so that is a factor I will have to take into consideration.
So has anyone been in a similar situation of expanding a second business?
The way I see it. The 1st on is the absolute hardest. 2nd one is hard, then you know what to to and 3+ will be easy.
