What would you have done?

So I'm sitting here thinking about starting an actual business. The outline of my idea is simply franchising (the intent) a small business that I create. It doesn't matter what the business is at this point, just that I have the idea.

What I'm wondering is....is it worth it? By worth it I mean should I commit to building the traditional B&M place?

The reason I'm asking is because with all the other ways to become successful, do I really want to embark on a long journey dealing with everything that a real life business entails? The buildings/rent, the employees, the structure, and everything else that goes along with owning an actual place with employees. I think back to the fastlane when MJ talks about scrapping any business ideas that involve employees.

I believe a question that may help guide me along is this...

If you could go back now (assuming your older/experienced, or not), and focus all your time and energy and commitment to one area that you now believe would benefit you the most in terms of business/success...what would it be?

Even if the answer is relative, I'd like to hear some thoughts 😀
