Hi All,
I own a California based tech company. I'm working on expanding my sales funnel by farming out lead gens. I have my attorney working on writing up a contract, but I wanted to get a bit of feedback from some knowledgeable people about what things I should consider or account for. Any gotchas I need to include in the contract type of thing.
Here's a sample scenario of what I'm envisioning:
A company/person brings me a warm contact for my hosting service. The hosting service is a one year term for $2000 per month. I want to pay a commission to the company/person in the amount of $4000 after the hosting contract is signed. I want to protect my company before accepting a lead that 1) this is the only compensation they should expect and 2) payment is conditional on a signed contract.
Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Maynard
