Agreed. Chris, Andre, Pete - it was a pleasure meeting all you guys and getting acquainted. It had been a while since I'd visited a Hot Topic and Spencer's, so I'm glad I got my kinky satisfaction in. Guess that was an unexpected bonus

Chris, Andrew - great hearing all the stories and background on the community. Looking forward to keepin in touch kickin' it around DC.

Pete - love the product idea. Keep me posted with progress as you make it, I'll PM you my contact info.

Definitely had a great time with you guys. The long drive was definitely worth it.

Chris and Andres are definitely veterans of the fastlane. They gave great advice and also a bit of history. There was never a dull moment.
Kept us young guys (VanToai and myself) interested.

VanToai, new member to the forum but he is an action taker. (unlike most new members) ..Gotta respect that ...I definitely see him making it to the fastlane soon. Great job getting your project launched man!

All in all, meetup was a success and im looking forward to the next one!!!

p.s. EJ need to expand his Ice Cream Spot down to the boondocks of Southern MD where I am... Theres still flavors I havent tried as yet! :/

are these more of a casual networking event, or more like a concentrated knowledge/idea sharing thing?

Mostly casual.

usually, the conversation gets interesting and we always end up talking about a business in particular.

If you have ideas that want to discuss, we will tell you the honest true, in your face, and will help any way we can. At least that has been my experience.

And, the more beers people consume, the more honest input you get, lol.

Chinatown offers a great number of bars and restaurants, with ease of access and metro station. It sucks for you and me as we live more in the suburbs, but I want to make sure others feel included.

If nobody else says they are coming, we will end up having Top Shelf Margaritas and fajitas in the same usual place...

I am thinking maybe the 16th, Sunday, meeting at a sports bar/restaurant and 'watch' the games... perfect excuse to get together and have a drink or two.

Or maybe the Sunday after, the 23rd.

Well only andres and I have posted dates, no one else has mentioned anything. So if you all have specific dates then then speak up. That way we can figure out something that works for everyone.
