What a great story.

Having just returned from Vegas and experiencing some hellacious cabbies, this is truly a "feel good" story.

The last cab ride I took consisted of a driver who honked his horn 7 times in a 8 minute trip. The funny thing is, he honked his horn at everyone, and everything. The traffic light was red. He honked his horn. The car in front of us was driving only 10 mph over the limit. He honked his horn. He passed some curbside revelers. Honked his horn. As he entered the entry atrium at the NY NY casino, he honked his horn again, at seemingly, NOTHING.

I asked him ...

"Why did you just honk your horn??"

He said: "Did you see that guy crossing the street? He was FAT."

I could only shake my head.

Another Vegas cab driver story...

While exiting the airport, the cab in front of us dropped a duffel back from the trunk, a poorly packed job for the unfortunately travelers ahead of us. My cab driver immediately pulled to the side of the road, picked up the duffel bag, threw it into his trunk, and hopped back into the cab saying "I can't wait to see what's in there!"
