To cut to the chase...
- I've written a manuscript for an Asian fantasy novel.
- I've considered self-publishing my novel, but it seems I'd need a significant social media presence for it to be profitable. I've been posting content for a bit of a year, but don't have much of a platform.
- I'm considering traditional publishing as a means of book distribution—where the publishing house does the marketing for my novel.
My question: For book distribution/marketing, is traditional publishing the better option for someone like me with little social media presence?
(P.S. I understand authorship is a crowded lane, and perhaps violates 'C'ontrol and 'N'eed.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
