Yo!
My company is registered in Panama but I rather put a US address under the contact us, for obvious reasons. So I want to use a mail forwarding service and just sign up some place with a nice address, 5th Av in New York or Beverly Hills etc.
My question is - can this get me into trouble with the tax man? Can the US gov or anyone later come and tell me "you list a US address on your website, therefor you need to pay taxes / operate under the laws on the US, or that STATE" etc?
Do different US states have different rules or there is a federal rule about this?
Thanks
