I went to one of these a little while ago, and have been struggling with motivation recently!

So would be definitely up for another London meet up if anyone is around?

How much does a meetup group cost?

Could be a way to setup one of those pages, let people nominate to run an event in their area and see if others in the UK sign up.

I'm keen for London... when I'm back from abroad.
 
I'm interested. Based in the home counties but prepared to travel ( London / Birmingham).
 
Would join from Germany, too. North or south doesn't play a role.

Please tag me if a date/location is decided on. I'd need to fly in but if the stars align it would be great to meet some of you.
 
I know it seems like I mention Facebook in every reply but I think that's going to be the easiest way to arrange something. Is anyone averse to joining a group on there? Also in terms of location would people prefer Birmingham? It sounds like we have quite a few further north. I'm happy to travel wherever.

My input on this thread to get things rolling, if everybody who is interested can state their areas within the UK then we can compile them together and come up with a central place for everyone to meet.

Once the location is set then we can then discuss venues,times etc.

If everyone on this thread thinks this is the best approach I would be happy to come up with a list of locations (you can PM me if you dont want it on the thread) and suggest a central point for everybody?
 
I'm based in West Wales. Would love to come along

Count me in. Located in Wolverhampton, just outside of Birmingham. My brother and more than likely a friend will attend too.

I'm East Midlands - Leicester / Derby way. Bit busy this summer but I'd love to make a meetup. For me London or Birmingham would be best.

Going by what people are saying on this thread london is popular however we also have a people from wales, west midlands, yorkshire etc. So perhaps we can go with @Jata suggestion with Birmingham acting as a central point for all?
 
i say birmingham, middle of the country fair for everyone to get to
 
I'm OK with London. M4 goes straight to it and the train goes straight to Paddington with no changes.

Great to see so many fastlaners within the UK, it would be beneficial if we organised an online meetup beforehand perhaps by skype or some form of online meetings site. That way we can discuss ideas for the meetup inc. locations, topics of talk etc. If this interests anybody lets organise a time and date for the call.
