Trading Betfair Exchange For A Passive Income

I would be interested if anyone out there makes a passive income from trading ( not betting! ) on the Betfair exchange or other exchanges. I have been trading on Betfair since 2007 mainly on the UK and Irish horse racing markets. I trade automaticaly using automation rules files I have developed over the years. This is not any easy market to enter in terms of making profits and it takes time to master and you will lose money initially. It does scale very quickly when you have mastered it. Every morning I arm my automation and love watching the results now you will not make a profit everyday but it's long term you need to be in.

Hello, nice to see that it works for you. So according to you, mastering the automation software and mastering the market is the key to succeed ? How did you learn that, was it formal or by experience and hands-on work ?

Lets say it was a journey of hell and you have to earn your right of passage literally.

I went on professional trading courses and also on one to one private mentoring by professional traders.

Lost money in the process of learning. But you eventually come out of hell and you stop letting the market bully you.

I have implemented my own trading strategies plus I have automated these.

It is very satisfying and I love it. I have written a book thats released on the 10th September 2023.

I used to have a site called Betfair Trading Tips and I made passive income from the affiliate advertising and also from my (mainly) football trading.

I don't have the site any more, after initially okaying the site, Betfair came and said I couldn't use the name anymore and offered me the princely sum of £100 to compensate me. I didn't take the money, thinking I might be able to battle it out. Then it looked like they might ignore a small fry like me, but eventually, I got kicked out of the affiliate program.

I made about £30k in a couple of years from affiliate marketing, although that figure was boosted by two casino members who spent a ridiculous amount of money.

In the end, I gave up because I was a bit disheartened at having to rebrand and I have terrible attention issues and something more shiny came along.

you haven't gotten limited on betfair? im american and have gotten limited from pretty much every american sportsbook i have an edge in mma/boxing
