Hello aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs,
I'm a 16 year old, looking to take control of my life and discipline myself to success, far ahead of the college and job-bound path that my elders think I'm going on. [They're not going to know about my plans until they see them work; that way, they can't accuse me of being wrong or foolish]
I've read over 30 self-help and business books in the last nine months, including The Millionaire Fastlane - which is in my top 5 - but I haven't taken action on the books. Self-help books are only useful when you apply the ideas to fit your own goals. Now is the time to put into ACTION all of the advice that I read and skimmed.
I'm skilled and knowledgeable in software development and information technology, but again, I haven't done anything with those skills. I recently created a Fiverr account to gain experience working on real projects. Whether I get any money for this doesn't matter: I'm still moving toward a Fastlane, and the money will come when the world decides that I've provided meaningful service to others.
Now is the time to do anything I can to get ahead. No more waiting for tomorrow, next week, or when conditions are 'perfect' [they will never be perfect; the point is to act when life is NOT perfect]. I don't have time to procrastinate anymore; I could have done that yesterday.
I'm going to act on every opportunity possible to expand myself or develop a Fastlane. However risky the actions may be, it's better than risking 40 years of my life for a shot at 'wealth' on life support. I want to look back at my teenage years with pride, not regret and wistful nostalgia.
