Hey, I am 17 years old and I just finished the awesome TMF book.
Fully motivated I will try to get somehow to my fastlane goal. Yet, I have no money to invest - only time.

So, the thing is I am finishing school in about 1 year and my parents are expecting me to go to university and to get a job (how boring lol). I definitely want to be independent and therefore I am HIGHLY motivated to build a fastlane business in that upcoming year (I am fully aware a true fastlane business needs min. 3+ years, yet I want to get to a point where I can get a passive income per month equal to what I would get if I would work in a job - lets say 3000$/month).

I plan to open a progress thread and I will need your opinion on the most important thing: the idea.
Basically, I have a few possibilities right now. The first thing would be growing my affiliate business which I have been a few months into now. I am making about 10$ a day which definitely is scalable - yet this isn't an asset. As the TMF book points out, I am dependent on the affiliate and traffic networks and this isn't a fastlane system for sure. Yet I could reach my goal of like 3000$ a month in lets say 2 months (still it wouldn't be passive).

The other possibility would be to jump into building a fastlane system - literally from tomorrow. I definitely can't expect my goal of 3000$/m in 2 months, yet this would be my own scalable business which I could grow limitless - and which would be passive.

Here is my question: Should I scale my current "sidewalk" business into 3000$/month and then jump with some investment on the "fastlane" biz, OR should I jump into the "fastlane" biz instantly without any investment yet with the risk of being without any money for a few months?

Thanks!
