I am debating even posting this, but if your reading this, I posted it.

I was in the gym yesterday, all alone since my friends were busy.

I am still getting used to the gym, so I got that one gut-wrenching feeling.

I felt like I was the odd one out.

I could have easily just skipped the gym for the day, lying to myself.

that one thought in my head popped up.

“If your not going to do it now, then when?”

I was always told that from a young age

Thoughts can easily build you, but just as easily crush you.

My friends told me that they struggle with that aswell.

Everyone struggles with it,

The Difference?

Some people let those thoughts crush them, they become slaves of their thoughts.

The others?

They push through those thoughts, knowing they’re just thoughts, and not reality.

They learn to control their thoughts, and use them to their power,

unlike the others, where their thoughts learn to control them.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am nowhere close to harnessing my thoughts, but I am on the right track.

I learned that by just doing what you fear, you learn to eat out those negative thoughts.

I feared going to the gym, I forced myself into there and now I’m glad I did.

If you dont do it you’ll have to deal with the regret of never trying and still dealing with your fear.

If you do, you’ll have to deal with the pain of discipline but enjoy that feeling when you overcome a problem.

So remember.

“Thoughts could easily build you, but just as easily destroy you.”
