Talk about a great book! I picked this one up in a thrift store today and am only on page 20 but, already very into what I am reading. The book deals in a lot of tremendous information regarding banking, counterfeiting, lending, and how a banker thinks. What a find... but more importantly, it's a fascinating story line.

I also looked for this on ebay after I got it home and found it for less than five bucks. If any of you are interested in it.
Also, I just wanted to mention, I just finished four other books. I finished the Web of Debt, Gold & Silver Investing by Mike Maloney, The History of Money by Glen Davies, and The Creature From Jekyll Island. After making it through over 2000 pages on this subject, I got to tell ya, if you can not get rich in this world economy we are currently in... I do not think you personally CAN get rich ever. Those books really opened my mind. To gain the historical perspective of consumer behavior and how producers of the past worked as well as what we actually used as a trade medium has changed my life forever. That insight is intense man. This economy, "depression" or not would be a merchant from ancient history's dream world. This is it ladies and gentlemen, this period in time we are living in is economic heaven. Even after the American Dollar crashes and burns like all other Fiat Currencies have, our devalued dollar economy will still have us living better than Royalty of the Middle Ages did. LoL.
