Thanks for the share! Some good info in there, for example I wasn't aware of the popularity of OfferUp or Letgo. Rep+
Dealerships have TONS of money. Across the US, the top 75 or so dealership auto groups each generate more than $1B in revenue per year. This means a substantial amount of capital to allocate to marketing & advertising efforts.
A piece on contracts, the bigger they are, the more you will want to utilize contracts. The last thing you want to do is enter into a $10k+/mo contract on a month-to-month contract just to get all of the systems and work setup, just to have them jump ship. While not everyone out there is a piece of shit, I have had this happen before with clients.
No contracts can work fine with substantial trust, but if you are bringing on additional capital expenditures such as employees to tackle a large account you also need to keep your a$$ covered.
Since signing this dealership, I have spent less time on client acquisition. My main focus right now is mastering the Digital Dealership game so that way I can disrupt the industry.
Feel free to replicate the organic traffic document. And yes, my contracts give my clients the ability to cancel at any time. I may change this in the future though for BIG clients ($20k+/month).
