Just thought I'd post this for those of you who might want to seriously profit by playing the opposite of my picks 
haha... MJ, this is for you!
I created a portfolio for some of my net worth this week. I wanted stocks that I could be pretty hands off with, that I wouldn't have to watch every single day. If something gives me heart burn after awhile I might manage it, but the goal is to try to keep hands off and just let the equity grow in my IRA for years to come. I researched each company, and picked companies with good growth potential, and a couple of safe plays for dividends and safety. Most are companies I am a customer of personally, with products I believe in.
Here are the official picks:
ABT, ARW, BKE, DRI, FO, GGP, INTC, KO, M, SBUX
Each of those stocks I'm into for about $6k
Then I grabbed 1000 shares of FOH as a small spec play for $700.
