Thanks a lot everyone! That's why I love this site. I appreciate everyone taking the time to check out my work. This is the first site I ever built and yes it is just a simple templet. I decided to take a stab at this because some of the competition in this business has the cheapest scammy looking websites with absolutely ridiculous names. Ball refill, ejaculoid, etc. Their ingredients are a bunch of tiny doses of 19 different herbs and somehow they get good reviews???! Maybe just good marketing on their part but I thought I could put together a better product with a better value based on using the few things that actually work in proper doses based on scientific studies. My amateur site looks better then a lot of the competition believe it or not.
This was my concern... That perhaps I set up my sales "funnel" in a bad way. The BUY IT NOW button leads to a SHIPPING INFORMATION page where I collect Name, Address, Email. When you click SUBMIT you are taken to a page that says IM SORRY WE ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK.
The potential buyers info is sent to my email. I can also check the sites traffic to see how many people landed on each page. Only TWO people submitted their information. I ran an add for a month but I did tweek the price and ingredients a few times. I started out with more ingredients and a higher price then simplified the product and dropped the price for the last two weeks.
I ran a google AD for one month. It said:
BETTER SEX GUARANTEED
Safe and Effective all natural
Male Enhancement supplement
www.AlphaDogStack.com
I figured that would get peoples attention and also tell them this is a supplement not a DVD, toy, etc. I wanted GOOD traffic. Again, I don't know shit about web marketing so feel free to school me if I messed up.
Good points and thank you for contributing Mr. DeMarco.
I have learned less is more when writing copy.
I don't have the product yet so I was concerned about not having a product picture! That's kind of strange not to show the bottle so I put up a picture of some capsules that contain some of the ingredients. Also, should I put up some fake testimonials? I know people do it but I felt strange about this. The product doesn't exist! Should I lay in bed with a hotty and film a video saying how much fun we just had?:groove:
I can put up studies but I thought that would bore people to death. Would that really make sales? You would be surprised how many people don't even read the FAQ.
:smilielol: I gave a warning next to my link!
No, I could not actually PURCHASE the product. Did you have google analytics on it? and if so how many people hit the page to purchase? I wonder how many people were WILLING to pull out their credit card at that point, only to see it was just phishing for contact information.

With this type of product, overcoming skepticism will be everything.
-- Better copy, and less of it.
-- Testimonials, an absolute must.
-- Maybe some links to clinical studies regarding some of the ingredients
