Could be great for importers. This will delay about $30k+ in tariffs I have on products coming soon. Probably $100k over these three months.

Will help a lot for us importers with unpredictable cashflow.

Fake news.

At the press conference Trump denied it at the exact moment when the news was released by the WSJ. I don't have a link, but it was at the tail end of the press conference when a reported asked about the "late breaking news" and he expressly called it fake news. I will believe his assertion since tariff postponements is something he'd probably explicitly sign off on.

So it's likely he has an advisor or something who wants this, but the president hasn't signed on to it, or even to a lessor extent, heard of it.
