I am currently looking into switching web hosts for one of my sites. Others will probably follow, but this is a test.

Research I am doing is showing me that my current host is detrimental to my ranking. So I am going to change this one site, change nothing else and see what happens.


Question: my current host has it configured as www.mysite.com. the first host I looked at configures as mysite.com. Looking at other hosts, but wanted to know if the lack of www will make a difference?


looking at YSE, about 50% of my links go to www, and 50% go to non www. don't ask me why.
