Hello everyone,
I began the fast lane journey early this year. I thought it would be pretty crazy, but I did not think it would become this dramatic. Since last summer, I identified a need in engineering and worked hard to build a mvp while working full time in my day job.
In October, things took a wild turn. I thought the product was finally ready for beta testing, but I accidentally discovered that I had a significant brain tumor while being checked for minor symptoms that was unrelated. The tumor was big, about 1 inch in size, but fortunately, it was caught before causing serious problems like vision loss or stroke. At 37, having always been healthy, it felt surreal to face such a major issue with my body. I thought I can always push thru anything.
In a miraculous way, the very next day I met someone who connected me with a neurosurgeon specialized in my type of brain tumor. Within weeks, I underwent a successful surgery to remove the tumor. I am expected to make a full recovery.
I'm grateful that I am still alive and my cognitive functions remain intact. This is a reminder for me and for all of us that health is wealth. Taking care of my body takes first priority.
I am so looking forward to getting back to addressing people's needs!
